On April 7, 2018, the Friends of the Divine Mercy held the “Feast of Mercy”. According to the Diary of St. Faustina: “I desire that there be a Feast of Mercy. I want this image, which you will paint with a brush, to be solemnly blessed on the first Sunday after Feast; that Sunday is to be the Feast of Mercy” (Diary, 49).
The event started with the procession of the Divine Mercy Images led by the Divine Mercy in Every Home (DMEH) Ministry followed by a mass and blessing of the Divine Mercy Image presided by His Excellency Most Rev. Teodoro C. Bacani, Jr., D.D.
The members also shared the miracles that they have experienced as a Divine Mercy devotee. The event was also attended by Ms. Pinky Marquez, Mr. Lucky Robles and Mr. Adrian Panganiban who serenaded and entertained the attendees.
The Feast of Mercy was held in Pasig City Sports Complex, Pasig City.
