The enthronement is the flagship program on the proclamation of the Divine Mercy devotion. It involves weekly enthronement of the Divine Mercy image in homes, business establishments, corporations and government offices. Those who receive the image are taught the Chaplet of the Divine Mercy and the 3 o’clock prayer.

The propagation is led by a dedicated set of workers called Builders who form Clusters or groups of propagators in areas where the enthronement is done.

The propagation began in June 2007 as the Divine Mercy Apostolate where the enthronement is called Divine Mercy on the Block (DMOB) inspired by the Rosary Block, the roving praying of the holy rosary.

DMOB was renamed Divine Mercy in Every Home (DMEH) in 2012, and yet again to Devotion to Divine Mercy Mission (DDMM) in October 2018. On May 1, 2019, it was changed to Missionaries of the Divine Mercy (MDM). 

The evolution in the nomenclature reflects an ever-intensifying passion to proclaim the Divine Mercy message to the world. As new frontiers are explored, the workers are only inspired by Jesus’ words to St. Faustina, “My daughter, do not tire of proclaiming My mercy” (Dairy, 1521).
